Pochi AI is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your screen captures are processed locally or sent directly to the AI provider — we never store, view, or retain your screen content on our servers.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: Email address and name provided through Google or GitHub OAuth.
  • Device information: A hashed device identifier, device name, and platform for managing device activations.
  • Subscription data: Billing information is processed and stored by Stripe. We store your subscription status and plan type.
  • Usage metadata: Aggregate usage counts (e.g., number of queries per day) for billing and rate limiting. We do not store query content.

3. What We Do Not Collect

  • Screen captures or screenshots
  • AI query content or responses
  • Browsing history or application usage
  • Keystrokes or clipboard content

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Authenticate you and manage your account
  • Enforce device limits and subscription plans
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve the Service

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • AI providers: Screen analysis is sent directly from your device to the AI provider (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). We do not proxy or store this data.

6. Data Security

Authentication tokens are stored in your operating system's secure keychain. All communication with our servers uses HTTPS. Device tokens are cryptographically generated and unique per device.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support. Usage metadata is retained for up to 90 days for billing purposes.

8. Your Rights

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
